Biotech Orthomart will offer a comprehensive portfolio of orthopaedic and surgical care products and services: Biotech Orthomart will supply quality implants and orthoses to improve patient mobility.
• Orthopaedic Implants
Fracture-fixation systems (plates, screws, intramedullary nails), joint arthroplasty prostheses (knee, hip), spinal implants (cages, rods), and other trauma devices. These will be sourced from CE/FDA-approved manufacturers. For example, we will align with distributors like Surgipharm Uganda (Smith+Nephew)smith-nephew.com and introduce additional brands such as Stryker, DePuy, and established Indian manufacturers (Zealmax Ortho, etc.).
• Orthotic & Prosthetic Devices
A range of braces, supports, and custom orthotics (spinal braces, knee/ankle-foot orthoses, post-op shoes, etc.) to aid rehabilitation. These will include prefabricated and custom-fitted solutions. We will collaborate with global orthotics firms (e.g. OttoBock, and Circleg) and leverage local fabrication when possible.
• Surgical Instruments, Packs & Consumables
Sterile instrument sets and pre-packaged kits for orthopaedic and general surgery (e.g. plate-and-screw trays, trauma sets). Theatre consumables such as surgical gloves, drapes, gowns, masks, suction tubing, and catheters will be stocked. We will source from leading supplies companies (e.g. Medline, 3M) to meet high infection-control standards.
• Medical Textiles & Dressings
High-quality linens (surgical drapes, patient gowns) and wound care products (bandages, gauze, casting tape). These will meet UNBS textile standards and WHO guidelines. Where practical, we will partner with textile suppliers who provide fire-resistant and antiseptic fabrics suitable for hospital use.
